During my May Mini sessions earlier this year in Wimbledon Common, I was lucky enough to hang out and photograph several lovely families, and families to be, over the course of two days. I wanted to share one of these maternity sessions with you.

Meet Nikki and Jason. This gorgeous couple have recently welcomed the arrival of their little girl into the world, and I can tell from Nikki’s recent email, that they are just completely in love with her, and since her early arrival, their world has been turned upside down (in the best way possible!).

During their maternity photo session we chatted about just how much life was going to change over the next few months. I love just how much we all laughed! There was an air of excitement and anticipation through the shoot, and I finished up the afternoon with a massive grin from ear to ear.

Wimbledon common was a great spot for this session, and the weather could not have been more perfect, with some really gorgeous light.  Thank you Mother Nature! I have to say I’m a tiny bit disappointed that we didn’t run into the Wombles at any point…
